Actually, probably not. The daughtercard sets the system's bus speed, and most Tsunami mobos won't even boot if bus speed goes much beyond 55 MHz. Of course, YMMV - I've heard of *occasional* success running 7500 boards as high as 60 MHz, but this is *very* rare. I've never been so lucky, though.

To my knowledge the 8500 that the original poster claimed to have does not have a Tsunami mobo.
That would be like in the 9600 300 MHz sitting here at my feet.
