> David, make sure your settings were for AAC and on a music disk and not
 a data disk.
Sometimes it's just a bad disc, in which case, try burning another one
and see if it still does that.
I had trouble with one disc, reburned it, and all is well..

I checked preferences for Audio CD, reburned with same result. I've been doing this for a while now and this is the first burn since the 4.7.1 update. ugh.

Also tried to run the CD in a DVD and nothing came up. Oddly, it displayed
as an audio CD on my Color Classic under 7.5.5 and played with Apple CD
Audio player. I've a hunch it may be the burner in the Windoze box as there
was a lot of static on one of the attempts.

_)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

the unstated inclusion of a PC into this mix perhaps adds several layers of complexity.

To say nothing of what flavor of ((((( shudder))))) WinDoze you wrought this disk under..
