<sigh> I know, I know. It's a box from (and for) work running XP, but I don't have an OS X machine and the 9600 doesn't seem to want to accept it. However, burning the discs on the dreaded "W" box has worked up until today. Now, further testing proved that my car CD player would play them, but reluctantly (it took a long time to find the track), so I'm convinced that the CD-R is the culprit, unless iTunes is doing something different in 4.7.1.
