bus settings at 40mhz from install,
this morn i pulled the motherboard cache out instead of letting the
software diable it ,
getting a stable result ~ but however on startup i get a message about the
backside cache not being there ~  the speed settings are diabled  in this
state .
 when first intalled the speed setting was 149mhz on auto  ~ so i'm
hazarding a guess that the upgrade card isn't 100%  healthy and that at
some point i'll have to be re-installing the original 604 board ?.
