I have a 9500/132 with Yellow Dog Linux on it. It wasn't so bad to put together, once I got some newer, bigger drives in it. It had come with only a 1 GB drive. I put two 9 GB drives in it, and proceeded to put YDL on it. I had tried a couple times until I got it all installed the way it should be done...you learn along the way, the way it should be. When in doubt, install everything... I was happy to install YDL, since a while earlier, my cousin had talked about filesharing software called eDonkey 2000 he used to download stuff. I was intrigued, and originally tried using it in Windows 98 (RealPC) on my Mac. When I saw that there was an open source version of it called mldonkey that ran on YDL, I installed that, and used it to download some things...it was neat accomplishing that, and using the X Window system on it. I think its power supply went out...and I really haven't had the time to check it out... -Lars -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
