Listers with a very good memory may recall the SCA SCSI drives
mentioned here almost 2 months ago, I have been trying to buy a working
one since that time.

I received a dead drive from SurplusComputers, no spin up even, and I've spent the last 1.5 months dicking around with these yahoos.

Long story short, my feelings are that if you want waste huge amounts
of time, just try getting working equipment from these guys.

Brian -

Sorry you have had such problems with SurplusComputers. My experience has been a little different

Mine as well. I've bought a couple of their SCA drives, four LVD drive cables, 68-pin adapters, a USB pen drive, and possibly a couple more items I've forgotten. My Visa bank card is never charged until an order has shipped. My latest purchase - 256 MB CF card and PCMCIA adapter - just arrived today. It took a week to arrive and that's by far the slowest for any order placed with "these yahoos."

While anyone can blow it on occasion, I would say don't give up on them.

Hear, hear.
