Look at you preferences. See if Web Content/Show Pictures is ticked. Also
Content/Active Content and tick enable scripting, plug-ins and Active-X
(leave alert off). Go also to Receiving Files/File helpers and see that
associated with jpg and jpegs is an image prgm like Photoshop or
Quicktime...

Thumbnails on we pages often are sometimes javascript controlled and need
IE's version of such turned on to work (the above will do the trick). If the
wrong prgm is associated with inappropriate files, well...

Anyway, try these things first.
