Hi Pam, Put the 9600 back to a 604e processor. Put known good RAM in, as much as you can. Wipe the drive, install 9.1. Install the Sonnet software, then OS9.2.1 then 9.2.2. Since you did the 8600 you know the steps with OS9helper. Once everything is operating fine with the 604 put in the Sonnet following the normal processor swap steps. It should work. Although there where a couple of the G3 upgrade cards that I had that anything above 9.1 was flaky or just wouldn't run. I do believe that you may have to do some extension name changes to change the load order due to the sonnet extension. That's about all I can think of at the moment.
