Subject: [PCI] MPEG-2 encoder

Guys,

What's a good MPEG-2 encoder to make a video file suitable for burning to
DVD in Toast 5.2.1? I think I might be able to burn DVDs in 9.2.2 on my
8500, if Toast will recognize an 8x Toshiba DVD-Ram SDR5372 connected via
SCSI bridge.

Charlie

______________

Are you saying this dirve is a RAM drive yet will burn a standalone DVD ?

Several times over the past 2 years there have been threads asking about the
possibility of just hooking up a DVD drive.
And those whop claim success seem to always cite glitches and problems.

I wish you a lot of luck on this and hope you will let us know your
hardware/software configuration and the relevant details.

Adrian
