When you get a few bucks $ 10 or less will buy a mobo and $ 5 or less
a faster processor. Even a 132 will seem faster to you.
Your memory will fit and the cache too. This is a very easy swap as
 long as you are patient.
snip
Altho, I am not sure as to if'n Nick will be able to do the
needed travel for the upgrades/installs, yet indeed sure
that any power he can afford to give both Macs will be
sure to help some or even more considering what he is
able to get his hands on, but it is believed(iirc) that
with all but the Ram and G3 cards made for the 7200s
specific, that a replacement of the Power Supply will be
needed to be accomplished in order to use the higher
capacity Mobos, and the PS swaps may prove more work/
less simplicity than is wished. If I am mistaken I'm sure
Adrian or someone else will chime back in to correct me
and help.
To go to NS 7 you will need a faster processor and more memory.
And quite possibly that version will turn out to be NS7.02. And
I've got all the newer browsers installed, and for all of the
NS v4+ have allotted 65Mb of my installed 136Mb w/RDv9
loaded, so how much Ram, is your; "lots of" referring to, is
the here unknown.
HTHs some.

Sure enough. I am writing on a machine with 7X00 mobo, Sonnet G3 288 RAM and a full set of PCI cards on the stock 7200 powersupply with never a bit of complaint for " more power Mr.Scott" ( thats all she's got cap'in !)

The swap list prices on the mentioned parts have never been cheaper.
