I was running THREE monitors on an old 8100AV for years (I bought it new). It
had a built in video outlet and I plugged in a 17" monitor. Then I added TWO
video boards and plugged in TWO 20" Multiscan Trinitron monitors. Great for
drafting because you can have the plan or image across THREE screens at once.
See the thing full size and scroll across. Now I have two 9600's that have
Sonnet 800 mhz boards in them, and jaz drives, ethernet, firewire, etc., and
I'm currently back to one 20" monitor each, but probably will go back to 2 or 3
screens. The smaller screen was great for the control menus and pallettes for
Photoshop and PoweCadd etc. and even for MS Office ! Gets all the clutter off
your main viewing screen(s).
