No, you can't have termination on both CD and HD, The Mac is one end, yes,
but you need *one* other end (you have to have 2). I am assuming your
"w/term" means "with termination"

Perhaps the safest for a switch would be to switch off both 12 and 5 that go
to the drive concerned. I believe there are *softer* approaches involving
jumpering the drive so it needs a command to start and/or mount...
