Trust me, get an external HD to back stuff up and enable all this sort of
thing. Get one that will stand you in good stead for a fair while even if
you upgrade. It makes all things like initialising, partitioning,
defragmenting and so on relatively straightforward. Even a cheap second
internal HD will do, these can often be simply moved from machine to machine
etc (pentile pen or put a sticker re the OS etc, I use internals like
externals a bit! But the 7300 and 7600 cases are relatively easy to open.
