Thanks Matt,

As a fellow 9500 owner you can appreciate that I don't relish the prospect
of pulling this thing to peices *again*.
I've just done a complete refit, all the RAM , PCI cards and daughterboard
checkout and are seated well. The SCSI chains (both bus's are in use) are
terminated ok.
The PRAM battery is dead, however this has been the case for a while and
this problem has only recently started, so I'm sceptical that that is the
issue. However a new battery is on the way so, I guess another rebuild is
on the horizon - as you say - time to bite the bullet. - I guess we'll
find out.
