First, you are on the wrong list for this question. Second, boot into 9 and
don't fancy your chances with old printers on X in Classic, it is often not
up to it. Make sure the scanner (if it is the only device on the scsi
chain, is terminated and has a unique ID. For ID don't worry if it is the
only scsi device, otherwise ensure it has a unique number. As for
termination, either your scanner has a switch to do this or you put on a
terminating plug - if it is at the end of the chain.
