Okay, so this is a slightly technical question... I have just inherited a fairly generic PC.. this PC has a USB card in it. The card is a totally unknown quantity at the moment as I have not yet had a chance to test the PC, but it (after a glance) has a VIA chipset.
I want to put it into a 9500. The 9500 runs MacOS 8.6 and 9.1. Does anyone know of a list of USB chipsets that MacOS 8.6 or 9.1 support? I assume this is potentially a USB2 card, and if so I'm stuffed, but it would be nice to get it working. TIA, M -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
