I am unable to edit mpeg movies with my QT 6 Pro properly, don't know why, I have some QT MPEG extension in ...
First thing I can't do is this: select a bit and delete or copy or paste. Not available option, menu item feint... I can export it to "mpeg" (becomes a .mpeg) or "Quicktime movie" (.moov or .mov). Either way I get to be able to edit but no sound... And when exporting, there is no option that removes the false "This movie has no sound" or gives any option for sound, the sound is embedded in a way not recognised by my software? I have a neat Sony digital that delivers movies in mpeg format and play terrifically with sound. It is the editability that I want while preserving the sound. I can't have the one without the other. Any experience in this anyone, please? What else do I need to provide by way of info? David Elmo -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
