Unpluging all peripherals does not help. To go back to
the start, this computer had two drives with the
second drive acting as a storage unit. The second
drive mounts but I can't access most of the info
because the first drive has the system software (I
will probably have to install the system in this drive
eventually). The major problem is how do I recover the
data in the first drive? It was working fine until I
removed it from the computer. I need to transfer that
data to another drive since it is about 99% full.
A second question is this: suppose I install system
software on a different drive and make this drive the
start up drive can I mount the first drive (the non
working one) as a second drive even though it was the
start up drive before it started acting up?
