Hi Guys, got a couple of dodies this time,
On boot up, at the post screen I get my primary master and secondary
master etc ok, but underneath is the line- sec ide channel no 80
conductor cable installed. What the heck is this, and why has it
suddenly appeared? puter is running fine.
Next thing, can't burn cd's at all, either music or data. The error
messages are as follows-
Power calibration area error.
invalid write state.
could not perform end track.
command sequence error.
could not perform fixation.
burn process failed.
What on earth have I done this time?? apart from creating another
coaster! Anyone kind enough to point me in some direction. Am useing
Nero and a phillips burner which has done me proud for the last couple
of years. Have uninstalled and re-installed Nero burning rom to no
avail. Am at a loss as to what to try next. This all started as far as
I can see after changing my 17 gig scusi drive for a 38 ide. Would
welcome some help here!
Any of you useing Opera have a look at the latest 5.11, just downloaded
it this morning. WOW, now this is a browser, and no I don't work for
