I recently posted a question on this list regarding how to stop persistent automatic dial-up with Internet Connection Sharing in Win 98. Got no answers, but I've found my own solution which others might find useful. Hidden away in the Windows/system directory is a file named icsmgr.exe (which MS omitted to tell us about -- at least I found no mention of it anywhere in the help files). If you click on it, it places an icon in the system tray which in turn allows you to disable or enable ICS on the fly.
