Calling all users of Eudora Pro!
Using Win 98SE. I installed Eudora Pro a while ago, using one of my email
addresses, configuring all the options as required under Tools/Options.
Always works a treat, dialling up automatically with DUN to the correct No.
Now I want to set up another "personality" for a second email address. Went
to Email Account Setup/Advanced setup to enter all the relevant POP and
SMTP settings etc. No problems here, except that there's nowhere which asks
for the dial-up phone # for my mail server. When I ask it to check the mail
for that new personality's address, the program automatically dials up to
the other, original (default) server.
I must be going crazy, but NOWHERE can I find where to put in the dial-up
phone # for the new email account, NOR can I recall how I set up the
original number for the first email account. Of course, if I connect
manually to the correct server before asking it to check new mail there's
no problem.
Why does Eudora connect automatically to one server and not the other?
Where the heck do I tell it which number to dial ...??
