In the wee hour of 02:49 PM 5/4/01 +0200, David Grossman bequeathed such
tales as these:
>I recently set aside a spare computer for testing
>out questionable downloads or attachments. That cut-and-paste to a diskette
>procedure does have its risks, of course. After all, I have to click on the
>virus file before I can Cut it. If I accidentally _double-click_ on the
>virus.....
>

Or you could save the spare for something useful and just delete any file
you don't trust.
