I recently had a bit of a problem (undestatement) witrh my computer slowing
down to a virtual stop. This was after downloading IE6. It maybe just
coincidence.

Barry and Dorian were quite supportive at th etime.

Despite searching all the Microsoft databases this group and other sources I
was unable to resolve the problem and had to take the bull by the horns and
re-install Windows etc. Fortunately I had most things backed up and it was
not a major issue.
There are a couple of hangover problems I would like to resolve if possible.

Address Book
I have been able to recover my address books and yet I have not been able to
recover the Outlook Express address book that I also use.

Dial Up Connection.
This pops up whenever I look at my e.mail folders in Outlook Express and I
have to have about 4 or 5 attempts to get rid of it.

Outlook
Since the problem occurred I have become interested in using Outlook for the
range of things that it does. However I only have it on my main machine and
would like to copy it on to my laptop as a full working back up. I am not
sure how to do this.

Whilst I was pretty disciplined about backing up before now I have become a
bit paranoid and want to make sure that I have my laptop as a full back up
system as well as my existing Iomega ZIP.
