To one and all,

I and several of my friends have been dealing with the issue of where in
the registry the default drive letter is kept.

This is a problem whenever Windows or other programs want the Win98 CD
to be inserted in the drive, BUT is looking at the previous drive letter
for one or more files.

For example on my friend's system, when Windows was installed, the Zip
drive did not exist as far as the install goes, so the CD drive was G:.

BUT, after windows was fully installed, the CD drive is now drive H: -
BUT windows and other programs still want to find files and directories,
such as WIN98, on drive G: instead of the correct drive of H:.

I have had similiar issues myself on my own system. So would like to
change the registry location where the default drive letter is kept, to
the correct one, and need the location.

Also, does anyone have the same registry info, but on a Win2K system?
