Jeff,
the wav file has to be 16 bit 44.1Khz to make a "music" CD. This is the
"red book standard" that all consumer CD players play. Also, listen to the
wav file before burning the disk to verify shat you are recording. Make
sure the original doesn't sound like the 'squelch' noise.
