To one and all, Was wondering if it is possible to, similar to what you can do in Win98, setup a ramdrive to generate automatically when Win2K is booting/loading up??? I did a search of Microsoft's site and could not find anything which refers to a ramdrive in 2K - found LOTS of articles which deal with ramdrives in Win98 and earlier, but not 2K.
I use the ramdrive in Win98 for my cache in Netscape, so I dont have to remember to clear out the cache everytime I start up Windows. And would like to do the same when I setup my system to dual boot with 98 and 2K, so that Netscape can point to the ramdrive for its cache operations when I run Netscape in 2K. On the other hand, if that is not that easy to do, what, if any, is the quickest way of setting up the equivalent of autoexec.bat in Win2K, so I can clear the cache automatically whenever I bootup to 2K??? From what I noticed in 2K, there is a config..nt and autoexec.nt but they seem to be used strictly to setup customized Dos sessions under 2K.
