Many thanks, Linda, for answering my question. I am enclosing my friend's
response to me after I told her what you said she should do. Ann Parker

It depends on how she has it laid out in Word...if it's all one file,
then all she has to do is hit ctrl+a to select all the text, then change
the font and that font will be applied to all the text in that
file....if it's in multiple files, she will have to repeat this will all
  the files

Hi, Fortunately, I haven't had to botheryou all in quite a while , but I
  now
have a question for you!!! (You have helped me so many times in the
  past.)
I have a friend who has written a 300-page book in a font that doesn't
please her agent. Her agent wants her to change it to Times New Roman.
  Now
this is my question: is there any way that she can change the entire
manuscript to Times New Roman other than highlighting each page and
  changing
it that way. Her OS is Windows 98 SE and her word processor is Ms.
  Word.
This is not terribly important, but we both are interested in knowing
whether or not this could be done easily. Thank you. Ann Parker
