Thanks for all the great information - you are not going to believe what caused it. He plays a lot of games and somehow he got installed on his computer from somewhere - something called, "Virtual Bouncer" --- I noticed it in his add/remove. So we checked that out and it was something that automatically changed it back.
Ever heard of that? LOL So thought I would let everyone know in case they ever come across this. :) Azhodge Subject: PCWorks: Desktop Setting My husband's computer, Windows XP, I.E. 6, the desktop settings keeps going back to the 640 x 480; I set it to the 800 x 600 - click apply and okay. Then I restart the computer. Got any ideas what else I should do??? Also I notice it goes to 32-bit color in the Windows XP - is that the proper setting for it?
