I haven't found any way to switch settings easily from within XP itself but I've found two programs that will do what you want to do. Netswitcher http://www.netswitcher.com/ and MultiNetwork Manager http://www.globesoft.com/ . Both work really well. I ended up buying Netswitcher to use with my laptop just because it was cheaper.
