I don't believe I have used a PC (internal) modem based fax since before Windows 95. Windows had fax capabilities, then it didn't, then maybe, then.... well I think I was using WinFaxPro last time I faxed anything from a PC......
Anyway, my new XP Pro notebook has a built in fax/modem that might come in handy on the road. I just set it up and sent a test fax to my fax machine at home and, as far as I know, it worked just fine. I also see that the software has a nice little contact address book built in to collect fax numbers and other personal information. However, since I have already collected fax numbers in my Outlook contact file, I don't want to have to re-type them in! But I see no way to import into the XP fax program??!! Does anyone know a way to import contact information into the XP Fax software address book? ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
