Not only can (AVG) be easily and immediately unloaded so

AVG is having to wait 30 days for new definition updates. If
on the 1st day AFTER a new update some new malicious
codes are found, you have to wait 30 days to be protected
from them. The AVG people really should do something
about this, and could be why they have not surpassed NAV
in popularity. Unfortunately AVG consumes 3% more resources
that NAV 5, but less than 2002 & 2003.

Clint,

I've used AVG for over a year now. Possibly, I don't understand what you are saying about having to wait 30 days for updates because I have updated many, many times, once twice in one week. It always seemed they were right on top of every new problem that surfaced. I update on the average of twice a month.....flawlessly every time. What a great program!

Something else AVG is good about.....most of the time I forget to turn off AVG to load a new program but I have never had a problem because of leaving it on and running.
