Hi Everyone,
Well, despite my getting rid of Zone Alarm and turning off all the but
the essentials at start up, I am still having trouble with my computer
getting on to the network when I first start my computer in the morning. I
have to physically unplug and then replug in the base unit. I spent near 2
hours on the phone the other night with Microsoft tech support and the guy
couldn't solve my problem. Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter? My
cable company is Cox and I'm using Microsoft wireless networking. The base
is through an ethernet cable and I have a laptop as well. I have no
problems with the laptop. I thought about just going to a router to share
the modem, but that's what the base station is so I figure I'd get the same
problem. ANY help on this would be appreciated. I'm ready to take
everything back and settle for (boo hoo) AO*ell on the painfully
slooooooooooow dial-up. :(
