Marlene - I'm no expert at networking either, but we have the same situation. We share a cable internet connection between 2 offices. One office has a 3-computer network and the other also has several computers on their network. We just ran a wire between the 2 routers (one in each office). It works great!
Both offices are wired networks (not wireless), but I think as long as you are into their router, it should work. I want to connect a wireless network (next office, same company), so that they can use our cable access. Would I simply need to connect our cable router to their router in order for this to work? Thanks for any input/advice. I'm not the worlds greatest when it comes to Networking :-) Marlene ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
