For my own part, I am running a network off another brand router, and a
couple of computers, also a Linksys hub off of that on a long cable, and a
Linksys wireless hub off of that. Works just fine. The only trick here is
not to get caught up in the special socket on Lynksys hubs/routers. They
seem to require a special cat-5 wiring that has a crossover. Just plug your
inter-hub connection in like a normal computer connection and all works
well.

To be honest, I am not a network whiz. My son who is a network specialist
was visiting and set the extra hubs up when he saw how we were using the
network. I will soon be all wireless on the computers.

Linksys manuals have a fairly good set of directions, and the html address
for accessing the setup in their hubs is relatively easy to use, unless you
get into some difficult number settings, at which time a knowledgable friend
can resolve the issues. Probably won't come to that.

Mike
