Hi All I know that this has been brought up numerous times but my McAfee software is driving me nuts. I had to re-install a half dozen times due to corrupted files. Now, because the software is slightly over a year old, I can't upgrade any further DAT files unless I pay for an upgrade. To add insult to misery, because of the re-install, I'm stuck with DAT files that are now over a year old and there must be hundreds (thousands?) of new vir***ses that have occured since then. Their tech support is no help at all.
So, is there any system better than McAfee? I hear from some that Norton is no better. I've also heard others rave about a free AV software that has unlimited free updates.
