I use Norton and am very happy, have had no complaints, no problems, periodically knock on wood <smile>. I use XP-Home and it is Norton all the way, firewall, AV, CleanSweep, SystemWorks.
I know many who use the free AVG (Grisoft). They are satisfied and have had no problems installing or obtaining updates.
