Some of Clint's comments are legitimate but I think overall you did pretty
well. Dell is a pretty safe deal.

I don't think the integrated graphics processor will hurt you at all from
your description of what you do with your computer.

I think you will like the monitor. I have a Dell 19" Ultra sharp and it's
very nice.

You probably bought more processor than you need but you'll like it a lot
and you'll be amazed at how fast it is especially compared to a 5 year old
Gateway and Hyperthreading really does work. 512 Mb of ram will do fine for
a long time even though you are using some of it for video.

I don't like ISP software at all. You can just write down the settings from
your old computer and transfer them to the new one without installing
Earthlink software if you want to. Are you on a modem or high speed line?
If there are things you use in Earthlink software then go ahead and install
it. Let us know and we'll help you with that.

With a 4 year in-home maintenance warranty you not going to need us anymore.
;-)

I don't know what your friend means about your old computer but then that's
sort of a moot point right now because you have already bought your new one.
