Oh sure, she's got all she needs but since she mentioned upgrading, or "in the long run will it last", that's why I went into future issues. :-) The integrated video isn't going to "hurt" anything, until she wants to upgrade it (If that is, it can't be upgraded). FAIK, it could be a great video chipset. I just checked out the specs and see it does use the memory in a dual channel mode, and it can have the memory upgraded up to 2gb but it doesn't say how many slots it has. So if you ever want to upgrade the memory, you might have to 'give back' or sell the 512mb if there's only two slots on the board. It appears that the 3.06ghz CPU is not the one with HT technology. For them, they only have the 2.6ghz, 2.8ghz and 3ghz CPU's that use it. The video used is the Intel Extreme Graphics 2 chipset. Not ATI or GeForce, but should be fine for non-gaming apps (which is fine since you don't do games). Doesn't say how much memory it uses. -Clint
