If you haven't installed any new drivers or software, or any
Windows updates, then the OS may be getting a little
"corrupted". If you've installed any of these things, of
course some of them may be doing it, ESPECIALLY the Windows
updates. I'd say to send me a screen shot of your cont-alt-del
window, but that would not help if you've installed no
updates/drivers/software on the PC. Let me know, and if you
haven't done a thing to it, I can suggest some things. It is
sluggish ALL of the time, or just on webpages, or just doing
other certain things?

I noticed in my registry I have several entries called
ControlSet.
They are labeled 001-003 plus the original one.
>From glancing over everything, it appears they are all
duplicated.
I backed up my registry and tried to delete one of them and it
wouldn't delete.
My Windows XP has become very sluggish...so I've been
researching ways to speed it up until I find time to
reinstall...
Thanks.
