Harold, you're using 98SE right, so you should have the base install of IE 5. This base install can be flaky for some. Best bet is to update IE either with the version 6, which you can download here http://browsers.evolt.org/download.php?/ie/32bit/6.0/ie60.exe or upgrade through windows update.
