HI Helene,

Slander is a defamatory statement expressed in a transitory medium such as
verbal speech. Liable means to be legally obligated or responsible.

If you say or write anything where anyone else can hear or read it you may
be liable for what you say or do. The internet is a public place and they
know who you are. If you post email it identifies you by your return
address or your IP included in all email. Your IP can be used to personally
identify you. In my opinion Spyware is a program that is installed without
your knowledge and collects any information about you without your consent.
It is important to read the EULA (End User License Agreement) before
installing any software. Companies use tracking software to pay for
development of their software. In some cases the original program is
uninstalled and the tracking software is left behind to continue tracking
what you do.

There is no privacy, doing such a simple thing as paying for groceries and
merchandise with a personal check identifies you and what brand of toilet
paper you use to any one that pays for the information. They know who you
are, what your drivers license number is, your address, where you bank, what
you bought and a whole lot more.
Something to think about.
