When I click on this URL it takes me to the site and asks for permission to install "netcam.cab", which is apparently an unsigned Active X control. I have my security set to "Prompt" for unsigned Active X controls. I didn't go further, but I also have Comcast, and I suppose I could connect if I downloaded and installed the control. I have also turned off XP's firewall due to similar problems elsewhere. HTH. **************************************************************************** ************
I have an odd one that has me stumped. I will start from the beginning and maybe someone can help me. I purchased two DSS wired camera's that you can use to remotely watch your home or business or anything. I am using Comcast cable with a dink wireless router at both sites. If I want to access either site from the other I get this page can not be displayed. I am using xp home with internet explorer at both sites. If I connect from dialup using earth link or aol or cable connection from a different company I have no problem. The url is http://24.16.174.79:30 If you click on this it should take you to a picture of my store front, and it does providing it is not from my store to my home or my home to my store.
