Hi Tom,

I will let Marlene decide if the subject of off topic or not, but it
seems to me the questions of Sp*m, Crackers, Vir*s and Troj*ns, etc are
all questions of privacy and the responsible use of the electronic
resources. I know many feel the "unrestrained" use of the internet is a
good thing, but I also know that Freedom without Responsibility ends up
in the loss of Freedom.

The sharing of ideas re: firewalls, net encoding, sp*m filters, etc.
seem to me to be spot on.

My comment was meant to be Socratic Irony. I agree with your spin on
the subject. However, your comment is prophetic - we have already given
away our expectation of privacy. I no longer have it, anyway in
relation to electronic devices of any kind.

Roger

I always wondered about the meaning of life. So I looked it up in
the dictionary under "L" and there it was - the meaning of life.
It was not what I expected. (Dogbert)
