I had the exact same problem when I got my wireless. I used Lynksys live
tech support and they informed me
to open a certain port..
I have no idea which port, or how I did it..but try their live help icon
under 'help'.

Keith, I tried to set this up but on the pc the wizard tells me it needs
to be connected to the network.
On the laptop I do not get anywhere. Actually after this day I'm brain

With XP pro, then run the network wizard on the laptop to establish the
full capablity for networking to the internent.  Treat the DSL as a
network and your two computers as nodes on that network. Be sure to have

the same work group for both.
