Clint,
I believe the logon method has to be 'Windows Family Logon" to have the passwords
saved..
I've heard of searching for PWD files and deleting them but I don't know if that will
help in this
situation

Hi all, can anyone answer this please? Someone had to change their name as
it was entered on a '98 PC and this caused some odd things to happen.

--------------------------
"......changing my name in the registry keys seemed to have caused
some weird password prompt problems. Now, every time I boot up,
I get prompted for my user name and password to log onto Windows,
I don't know how to get rid of that prompt, so I just cancel it each time.

On my DUN, I now have to type in the password every time, because
the option to "save password" is permanently blocked out!

And last but not least, I'm suddenly getting a prompt to enter my network
password for Microsoft Networking (whatever that is).

How can I get rid of these prompts?"
---------END----------------
Thanks for any info,
-Clint

God Bless
