Hi all, can anyone answer this please? Someone had to change their name as
it was entered on a '98 PC and this caused some odd things to happen.

--------------------------
"......changing my name in the registry keys seemed to have caused
some weird password prompt problems. Now, every time I boot up,
I get prompted for my user name and password to log onto Windows,
I don't know how to get rid of that prompt, so I just cancel it each time.

On my DUN, I now have to type in the password every time, because
the option to "save password" is permanently blocked out!

And last but not least, I'm suddenly getting a prompt to enter my network
password for Microsoft Networking (whatever that is).

How can I get rid of these prompts?"
---------END----------------

I haven't used DUN (Dial Up Networking) for years, plus I never had any
kind of a login ever. TweakUI may have some settings for this but I can't
recall since I haven't used it either for years. I seem to recall some login
options/settings on it for '98. I also suggested going into Internet Options
and checking out the tab for "Connections" and check out those areas.
It's all grayed out on mine since I'm on a router, DSL, and LAN.

Thanks for any info,
-Clint
