Thanks Clint.
All I ever found out was this was a p*rn dialer.
Adaware never caught it. Neither did Spybot until I downloaded and installed the newer
version.
Does it have to be a website, or can this stuff be placed on your computer remotely by
someone pining IP
addresses, or something, since I am on DSL?

Enter that at Google and you'll find thousands of pages on it.

As to how it gets there, I'm sure the hits will explain that. But I've
mentioned before that all it takes is **one** parasite website to do it. I
believe you read all your email in plain text format, but switch to HTML if
ever needed. It also only takes **one** HTML email from the wrong place to
do it. It doesn't have to be PU banners or a*ds that do it, the malware code
can be embedded and you never see it happening. SpyBot, SpywareGuard and
SpywareBlaster can prevent many of these things.

Does anyone know how this stuff gets on here?
I rarely surf any sites and Outlook is set to read all message in plain text.
I don't open attachments.
I had a customer's computer that had this on it as well as clearsearch.net
and N-Case...
I don't use Internet Explorer.
Thank you.
