Well, digital has a higher quality. When they have the
conventional 15 pin connector like any CRT monitor, they are
using the same analog signal. When they use the 24 pin DVI
connector, they are digital (and you need a video card with a
DVI connector to use those).

I don't see any dot pitch specs in all that, so it must be bad
since they don't mention it.

LCD monitors (at least the ones that use DVI connectors), are
not affected by flicker, so refresh rates are as not important
on them as on CRT's. I can't say if the same is true for
analog LCD's, but it probably is. Most if not all LCD monitors
have the same refresh rate range from about 60-75hz. Oddly, on
mine, the 75hz setting has WORSE quality than at 60hz. I was
having odd "jitter" problems while watching the TV on my ATI
AIW. I finally pinned it down to the refresh rate. I set it
to 60hz and it's perfect now.

The one thing you have to watch out for when getting an LCD is
the return policy. Just about every place will NOT accept
returns for less than 8 dead pixels. This means if you get one
and you see 7 dead spots, that's tuff, you're stuck with it.
So be sure nothing is mentioned about any dead pixel policy.

You're original post is not below, so I don't know what your
original question was. Has it been answered?
