For some reason, this post is not allowed in the archives! Never has shown up.
Not a single person replied to this post below, I would have thought someone would have at least took a few seconds to check their SP2 PC to see if this was happening....but no. I was able to get rid of this bar, but ONLY ONE TIME. I disabled SpyBot's "Immunization" area, and disabled SpywareBlaster. That bar then went away, so it was one of them causing it. I then tried to duplicate it and to narrow down which program and exactly which PART of the program was doing it, but I never could get rid of it again and it's apparently back permanently. Could someone on SP2 with that area of SpyBot and SpywareBlaster enabled PLEASE check this on your PC? -Clint ----- Original Message ----- (This is another post that never made it to the archives, so I don't know if it ever got posted). Can anyone explain this? http://ComputersCustomBuilt.com/StatusBar.gif . This is now what I see at the bottom of an IE screen in full screen mode for any image or any webpage, that strange status bar. For a webpage, it's the same except at the right I see "Internet". This is XP Pro SP2. There's not supposed to be anything there! When I "hover", the taskbar still shows as it should. It was not like this yesterday, and NOTHING has been installed or changed on this PC! All anti-malware scans are OK. -Clint Happy Holidays to all & God Bless Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ) http://ComputersCustomBuilt.com ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
