I thought the "steering wheel" on it was a bit..........odd. 
(I didn't read the caption).  Other than that it didn't seem so 
strange since the first "computer" in 1940 (Univac) weighed 
something like 8 tons+, was the size of a huge room, and had 
either 40,000 or 80,000 vacuum tubes.
